"I don't 'yammer'," Lindsey retorted without any heat. It was just the way they gave each other a hard time. "But yes. It's a damn sight easier than semaphore or yelling or what the hell ever else you uses to communicate at a distance. And even a kid can learn to use it."

Lindsey remembered before cell phones had even been a thing - in fact, when he was a kid, they didn't have a phone at all, unlike most families he knew - but when he'd been with Wolfram & Hart, he couldn't live without his. And the ones in Darrow were even better.

"It's not a boat motor, but it could be just as useful learning how to use it if you're gonna be stuck here with the rest of us."
